Our Story

It started with a cancelled cable bill.

In 2023, our Founder was paying close to $180 a month for a Canadian cable package built around channels nobody in the house actually watched. Cancelling it was easy. Finding something better was not.

The IPTV services available at the time all had the same problem, and it wasn't the technology. Streams dropped in the third period of a playoff game. Support tickets went unanswered for days. Subscriptions auto-renewed at prices that were never mentioned at checkout. The streaming worked — the service around it didn't exist.

So we built StreamX around the part everyone else ignored. Redundant servers across North American data centres, so a single failed node doesn't end your evening. Support staffed by people who use IPTV themselves and answer on WhatsApp in hours, not days. Pricing with no renewal traps and no fees that appear after you've paid. Three years on, StreamX serves more than 6,000 Canadian households, from British Columbia to Newfoundland.
